Celebrating over 50 years of service in the same location at 4936 Nob Road, NOB Brick and Fireplace has become the leading supplier of bricks and fireplaces in Northeast Indiana. NOB Brick and Fireplace was started in 1956 by Otto Nord, Arthur Oetting and Norm Buuck who were in the construction industry. They saw the need to meet demand for special brick made of concrete called "Slump Brick". From that the company evolved into selling clay brick, natural stone, and fireplaces. The initials of their last names were used as an acronym for the company name- NOB Brick. Since ownership has passed to Bob Benhower, the acronym has become known as "No Other Brick" which is unparalleled in Northeast Indiana.

NOB Brick and Fireplace offers a vast selection of in-stock brick in various colors, sizes, and shapes from all over North America. Nob invests huge amounts of capital in inventory in order for Contractors and Builders to have material when they need it. The staff at NOB Brick is keenly aware of the need for service in their type of industry. Many developers are requiring masonry fronts on newer homes which gives a subdivision a feeling of stability and permanence. The sales team at NOB Brick offers hundreds of types and colors of manufactured stone as well as brick. As this can be overwhelming to customers NOB Brick implemented a "brick identification" program which assists the customer in identifying the color of brick as well as the color of mortar on thousands of homes in Fort Wayne and the surrounding area. In addition, the 20+ members of the NOB Brick staff strive to get final material delivery to each job site on time every time.

NOB Brick and Fireplace also has one of the best burning fireplace showrooms in the State of Indiana. Many of the fireplaces are one of a kind, masonry look, louverless with glass that is virtually invisible. The staff at NOB Brick is continually field testing new fireplaces from companies all over the continent to bring the latest fireplace technology to contractors in Northeast Indiana.
